In the WARP terminal, chatgpt is the key, and there is no need for openai's aikey. I have been using it happily these days, and it has helped me directly with some daily tasks related to unfamiliar number statistics.
Launching AI#
To use it in the command line: Enter #, then enter your question and press enter.
AI will give you a command, which you can use directly. In this example, the command used at the end is figlet "Hello World".
If you don't have figlet and don't know how to install it on a Mac, you can directly ask: How to install figlet on Mac?
Then press command+enter to execute the command in the command line.
Opening the WarpAI dialog directly#
Open the warp ai dialog directly. Currently, warp ai only accepts computer-related questions.
Here are some examples of answers from these days, and I am quite satisfied. For example, if you want to perform a simple Monte Carlo simulation and want a UI to adjust the parameters, just ask:
The code provided in the answer can be used directly. Since I don't want to disclose some company information, the questions asked are more general. But the generated code can be very helpful, and basically, a page and the entire calculation can be completed in one day.
Do you need an API Key?#
The answer is no, you don't need anything. You have 100 questions per day, which is enough for most work.
